Comprehensive Behavioral Health Services

Comprehensive Behavioral Health Services

At Second Wind Counseling, we offer a full spectrum of addiction and behavioral health services tailored to your unique needs.

  • Individual Counseling. Private one-on-one sessions with licensed clinicians tailored to your unique needs. Individual counseling focuses on addiction and recovery, while also providing a safe, confidential space to work through co-occurring challenges such as depression, trauma, or major life changes. You’ll learn healthier coping strategies, build emotional resilience, and develop long-term tools for recovery and personal growth at a pace that feels right for you.
  • Group Programs. Structured, professionally led groups that promote connection, accountability, and shared growth. These programs focus on topics like recovery, relapse prevention, emotional regulation, and stress management. Through guided discussion and peer support, participants gain new perspectives, build confidence, and form meaningful support networks that reduce isolation.
  • Anger & Stress Management. Evidence-based coaching that helps individuals identify triggers, understand emotional patterns, and replace reactive behaviors with healthier responses. Clients learn practical tools, communication techniques, and mindfulness strategies to stay calm under pressure, improve decision-making, and create more balanced, productive relationships in daily life.
  • Peer Support Services (CRPA). Support from Certified Recovery Peer Advocates who bring lived experience and practical guidance to the recovery process. CRPAs offer motivation, goal-setting support, resource navigation, and genuine understanding to help clients stay engaged, overcome challenges, and feel less alone. This service reduces stigma and reinforces hope throughout recovery.
  • Family Counseling. Clinician-led sessions that strengthen communication, rebuild trust, and address the impact of emotional or behavioral challenges on the family system. Families learn healthier ways to resolve conflict, set boundaries, and support one another. The goal is to create a more stable, connected home environment and involve loved ones as partners in long-term recovery.
  • Telehealth & Off-Site Services. Flexible treatment options for those who need care beyond the office. Clients can attend secure virtual sessions or receive support in community settings. Telehealth makes it easier to stay consistent with treatment, maintain privacy, and apply new skills in real-life environments—without sacrificing the quality of professional care.
  • Medication Management & Psychiatric Care. We provide comprehensive medication management and psychiatric services as an integral part of our substance use disorder treatment. Our board-certified psychiatric practitioners work collaboratively with clients to conduct thorough evaluations, prescribe and monitor evidence-based medications when clinically appropriate, and adjust treatment plans over time to support stability and recovery. This service is designed to reduce psychiatric symptoms that can interfere with sobriety, enhance engagement in therapy, and help individuals feel more grounded, focused, and equipped for long-term wellness.
