PHILOSOPHY
The person who is dependent on drugs and alcohol has a problem which reflects physical, psychological, social, spiritual and familial factors. Addiction becomes the way of avoiding pain and conflict; chemical dependency becomes the solution to all problems. The substance is endlessly sought and is believed to be vital to the persons' well being. Abuse destroys the individual and the family. Treatment consists of a series of interventions which precipitate and support change.
